The floods that hit the Czech Republic left deep wounds in many regions. The Moravian-Silesian Region was one of the worst affected, with the extent of the damage exceeding that of 1997 many times over.
TSC Group has not remained indifferent to this painful situation. Despite its own significant losses of tens of millions of CZK caused by the floods, it decided to actively contribute to the repair of the damage. The holding's management allocated more than 800 thousand CZK to help those in need.
Among those supported were not only the company's employees, but also others in need. The money went, for example, to a sheltered workshop, which was struggling with the consequences of the floods, or to the inhabitants of Jesenicko, who lost the roof over their heads or all their possessions.
"TSC Group wants to lead by example and show that even in times of crisis, companies can play a significant role in supporting and rebuilding affected communities. We know that given the extent of the damage, our contribution will only contribute in a partial way, but we believe that its speed and targeting will effectively help those in need and perhaps even motivate other entities to support the affected regions," said Klaudia Hořínková, Head of the integrated management system Department, who personally handed over the donated funds.
