The Roosters, as the players of HC Olomouc are nicknamed, are the stalwarts of the Czech Extraliga. The club with a rich history dating back to 1955 plays its home games at the Winter Stadium in Olomouc. In 1994, Olomouc won the championship title and since 2014 it has been an integral part of the extraliga competition. In the current season, the Roosters are in the top ten of the table and boast an excellent home record - eight wins in a row!
