On 26 and 27 November 2024, as a long-standing partner, we participated in the 19th annual professional conference "Effective Hospitals - Strategies for Health Insurance Companies, Hospitals and Ambulance Services" in Prague.
This year's event focused on topics that were close to all the debating experts, such as plans to ensure the financial and personnel stability of the Czech healthcare system, a better future for the hospital network, the prioritization of inpatient acute care specialties and further development and controlled elimination of non-viable specialties, emergency services and digitalization of healthcare.
Other discussion blocks were devoted to the topics of changes in the role of health insurance companies within the Czech healthcare system and the optimal setting of the co-operation of the Ministry of Health, health insurance companies, patient organisations and providers towards better healthcare for Czech patients.
Congratulations to the abosultant winner of the project "Best Hospital of the Year 2024", which is the Hospital Strakonice, a.s. and to the General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic for the main position in the project "Health Insurance Company of the Year 2024".
